Size	Height 5m. Spread 4-5m.
Habit	A large shrub or a small tree with bright green foliage in summer turning brilliant scarlet-crimson in autumn.
Leaves	9cm long, palmate with 7 lobes.
Planting	More tolerant of sun than other maples best protected from hot dry winds.
General	Best known of the Japanese Maples. Especially beautiful in autumn.
